The average response rate to LVI is 20% versus 5% which is what you get when you do the manual work. This is taking a minimum period of 90 days of analysis, as most people take 3 weeks or more to accept your invitations and respond to your messages.

  • If your invitation acceptance rate is less than 20% in a 90-day period, it is likely that you are not using the right targeting, you need to improve your contact technique or your product or service is simply not interesting enough.
  • If your response rate to follow ups is less than 20% you should probably modify your messages. Mention more about your competitive advantage or how you have helped other companies to grow. You can always use the templates we provide at Five! Media Lab as a guide.

Remember:

  • You cannot control when and how people respond to your messages.
  • Linkedin allows you to send a maximum of 100 invitations per week, if you exceed this limit your profile could be penalized.
  • If people are responding to your messages but are not showing interest or you are not getting the results you expected, you may need to review your sales funnel. You can request a Sales Training to see where the problem is. 90% of sales teams fail in simple things like empathizing correctly with the customer or not doing the right amount of follow ups and discarding opportunities early.
